Indian mill books 20,000 t of plates for export to Europe

A private Indian steel plate manufacturer has booked 15,000-20,000 t of plates (S235, 12-40mm) for exports to Europe earlier this week. The deal was concluded at $1,000-1,010/t on CFR basis for Apr’22 delivery. Fresh export offers for plates are being heard at around $1,025/t CFR.
