India: NINL books 8,000 t of iron scrap in recent auction

Tata Steel Long Products’ owned Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd (NINL) conducted an auction for around 8,000 t of melting scrap on 5 Sept’22. As per the latest update, 5,000 t of runner skull (melting) received bid at INR 40,550/t while 3,000 t of unprocessed steel jam got sold at INR 36,950/t exw.
