China: SHFE nickel prices fall by around 8%

SHFE nickel prices declined today to close at RMB 221,030/t ($33,707/t), down 7.97% as compared to prices seen in the opening session. In the spot market, the average price of refined nickel was RMB 230,450/t ($35,144/t) today, down by over 5% from 22 Apr owing to weak supply and demand.
