Mongolia’s coal exports rise to a 17-month high in June’22

Mongolia’s coal exports rose by 21% m-o-m to 2.35 mnt in June, touching a 17-month high level. About 90% of Mongolia’s exports (i.e. 2.1 mnt) went to China. Exports rebounded as Covid-19-induced customs clearance restrictions eased at the border crossing.
