Mongolia exported 1.92 mnt of coal during the first half of Nov (1-15), up by 145% y-o-y. Coal exports during the same period stood at 25.03 mnt, 76% higher than last year. It may be noted here that the nation had stringent Covid restrictions which affected the transportation and production of coal last year.
