India: Met coke deals witness prices edging lower
In two successive deals, blast furnace grade met coke (64% CSR) was confirmed sold at INR 54,000/t and INR 57,000/t ex-works east India respectively, as per the latest reports with CoalMint. Prices fell due to the decline in imported coking coal prices and buyers’ reluctance to accept high prices amid sluggish end-user demand.
