Melting scrap prices saw a downtrend in all key locations of the country on 9 Feb’22. Due to weak buying interest from end-users for finished steel products, scrap prices came under pressure today. Further correction in prices are likely as scrap prices had increased sharply over the past weeks beyond market expectations.
