South Korea: Polaris wins KEPCO tender for Indonesia-Korea coal shipment

Polaris has secured a tender issued by the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) for a Panamax vessel (80,000 t) to transport coal from Tanjung Bara Coal Terminal (TBCT), Indonesia, to Dangjin, South Korea. The laycan is for 1-5 Apr’26, with the freight reportedly fixed at around $12.82/dmt FIO.
