India: Recent Karnataka iron ore auctions fail to garner response

Sri Kumaraswamy Mineral Exports Pvt Ltd conducted a 100,000 t iron ore auction (fines and lumps, Fe58.1-66%) on 31 Oct’22. According to market sources, the auction failed to fetch response. Meanwhile, at U. Krishna Prasad’s iron ore auction today, the entire quantity of 12,000 t of (fines and lumps, Fe61.58-61.78%) too remained unsold.
