India: 180,000 t iron ore lumps booked at JSW’s Karnataka auction

JSW Steel conducted an auction for 180,000 t of iron ore lumps from its Bomman mines in Karnataka on 3 Mar’23. According to sources, the entire quantity of 10-40mm, Fe51-55% ore was booked at INR 1,684-2,222/t. Prices were exclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET charges.
