The scrap export tender for February in Japan’s Kanto region concluded today with minimal changes. The average bid price saw an increase of JPY 6/t ($0.04/t), reaching JPY 53,087/t ($355/t) FAS compared to January 2024. The captured volume amounted to 15,000 t of H2 scrap, and the volume was expected to be booked for Bangladesh.
