Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) spot prices dropped by $0.95/t d-o-d to $95.35/t CFR China on 3 Jun’25 . The drop was driven by mills prioritising margin preservation and opting for mid-grade blend optimisation. Restocking remained limited to need-only purchases, while falling port stocks fuelled expectations of a near-term rise in lump premiums.
