India: Iron ore concentrate prices rise by INR 250/t after NMDC price revision

SteelMint’s price assessment for Fe63% iron ore concentrate stands at INR 4,200-4,650/t ($50-56/t) exw-Jabalpur, up by INR 250/t as against the last assessment on 24 Apr’24. Prices have witnessed an increase post upward revision in offers by NMDC and increase in pellet offers. Deals are reportedly under negotiation at current revised offers.
