India: Recent Karnataka iron ore auctions receive no response

SMIORE-Karnataka had conducted 1,000 t of iron ore fines (Fe57.2%) auction on 21 Mar’23. The auction failed to attract buyers. The floor price was INR 3,550/t. SKMEPL’s 53,000 t of iron ore lumps auction (10-40mm, Fe61.8-65.6%) on 23 Mar’23 also did not receive any response. The floor price was INR 3,647-4,043/t. Prices included royalty.
