Steel billet tags in China’s Tangshan dipped by RMB 30/t ($4/t) d-o-d to RMB 2,950/t ($410/t), including 13% VAT, on 13 May’25. The price decline came amid rising inventories despite improved macroeconomic factors. SHFE rebar futures (Oct’25) held firm d-o-d at RMB 3,079/t ($427/t) on 13 May.
