India: Hindalco cuts aluminium ingot prices by INR 4,000/t ($48/t)

Hindalco, an Indian primary aluminium producer, has decreased ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 4,000/t ($48/t) (compared to prices on 29 Aug’24) with effect from 30 Aug. Hindalco’s prices are at INR 241,750/t ($2,883/t). All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,495/t.
