Indonesia: Ferrous scrap imports fall by 20% in Sep’21
Indonesia, saw imports decreasing by 20%, m-o-m, in Sep’21. The country imported 0.12 mn t of scrap in Sep as against 0.15 mn t in Aug, as per SteelMint data. Australia was the largest supplier with 46,607 t followed by Hong Kong and Singapore with 29,109 t and 17,080 t, respectively.
