India: Over 16,000 t of manganese ore sold at SMIORE’s auction from Karnataka

Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd (SMIORE) had conducted an auction for at around 35,280 t of manganese ore (Mn: 18-35%, size: 10-100mm) on the MSTC platform on 14 Mar’24. According to sources, around 16,128 t (Mn: 24-34%) was booked at INR 6,140-9,330/t (close to base price), while around 19,152 t remained unsold.
