India: SAIL-SSP books over 2,000 t of MC silico manganese at reverse auction

SAIL-Salem Steel Plant (SSP) conducted a reverse auction for 2,125 t of medium-carbon (MC) silico manganese (Mn: 55%, C: 0.5% max, 10-70 mm) on 29 Jan’25. The L1 price was at around INR 85,500/t on an LCNC basis, sources informed.
