India: SAIL increases list prices of wire rod by INR 1,000/t ($13/t)

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has increased the list prices of wire rod (5.5-6 mm, SAE 1008) by INR 1,000/t ($13/t) on improved domestic demand with effect from 19 Apr’22, sources informed SteelMint. The current price stands at around INR 65,800-66,100/t ($861-864/t) ex-Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) basis, excluding GST at 18%.
