India’s manganese ore imports increased by 8% m-o-m to 0.53 mnt in Feb’22 from 0.49 mn t in Jan. The rise in imports resulted from of a surge in demand by domestic manufacturers. The major exporting countries were South Africa (0.29 mnt), Gabon (0.19 mnt), Australia (0.04 mnt) and Zambia (0.02 mnt).
