India’s imported HMS scrap prices have corrected downwards today by $10-15/t d-o-d. SteelMint’s assessment for Dubai HMS 1&2 (80:20) stands at $575/t, down by $5-10/t d-o-d while West Africa HMS offers are at $565/t CFR, Nhava Sheva. About 1,000 t of UK-origin shredded in containers is being booked at $645-650/t CFR, Mundra basis.
