India: Imported scrap offers continue to dip in recent trade

India’s import prices of ferrous scrap have corrected downwards due to selling pressure in the market. Around 2,000 t of Dubai-origin containerised HMS (80:20) was booked at $550/t CFR Nhava Sheva. SteelMint’s assessment for West Africa HMS 1&2 (80:20) is at $555-560/t CFR Chennai, down $5-10/t d-o-d.
