India: HR strip prices plunge d-o-d in key markets

HR strip (patra) prices plunged by INR 1500 ($18/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 1000 ($12/t) in Raipur d-o-d today. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 45,000/t ($551/t) exw-Mandi and INR 45,200/t ($553/t) exw-Raipur, respectively. Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
