India: HR strip (patra) prices rise d-o-d in key markets

HR strip (patra) prices rose by INR 500/t ($6/t) in Raipur and by INR 300/t ($4/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh on 30 Sept’22. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 52,000/t ($639/t) exw-Raipur and INR 51,800/t ($636/t) exw-Mandi. Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
