HR strip (patra) prices rose by INR 900/t ($11/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 800/t ($10/t) in Raipur on 26 July. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 52,000/t ($652/t) exw-Raipur and INR 53,600/t ($672/t) exw-Mandi, excluding GST at 18%.
