HR strip (patra) prices decreased by INR 700/t ($2/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 300/t ($4/t) in Raipur on 14 July due to poor sales. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices were assessed at INR 56,000/t ($701/t) exw-Mandi and INR 54,500/t ($682/t) exw-Raipur and, excluding GST at 18%.
