HR strip (patra) prices fell by INR 1,000/t ($13/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 300/t ($4/t) in Raipur due to sluggish domestic demand on 26 May 2022. The current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices were assessed at INR 50,000/t ($645/t) exw-Mandi and INR 50,500/t ($651/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST at 18%.
