India: Ferro silicon imports rise 31% m-o-m in Jan’22

India’s ferro silicon imports rose by 31% in Jan’22 to 18,398 t from 13,967 t in Dec’21, as per customs data maintained with SteelMint. Major buyers have started importing the material due to higher domestic prices. Meanwhile, ferro silicon imports increased by 24% y-o-y in Jan’22.
