Continued shortages of raw materials in the domestic market drove a surge in aluminum scrap prices. Tense scrap climbed to INR 164,000-165,000/t, and utensil scrap rose to INR 168,000/t, ex-Delhi, showing an increase of INR 1,500/t from the previous revision. Meanwhile, LME future prices dipped 0.9% to $2,259/t at the time of reporting.
