India’s coal imports for June are likely to reach 24.6 mnt, up by 17% m-o-m. The highest rise of 25% was recorded in imports of non-coking coal at 18.4 mnt amid domestic shortage and high power demand during the summers. Meanwhile, coking coal imports remained range bound at 4.97 mnt.
