India: Aluminium scrap prices up on rising demand
The Indian aluminum scrap market witnessed a price hike by up to INR 1,500/t d-o-d fuelled by domestic material shortages and escalating local demand. Tense scrap surged to INR 169,000/t while Taint Tabor scrap stood at INR 168,000/t, ex-Delhi. Meanwhile, LME future prices declined by 1.38% to $2,240/t at the time of the reporting.
