Indian govt removes import duty on ferrous scrap

Indian govt has slashed ferrous scrap import duty to 0% which was earlier at 2.5%, the finance minister said in Budget 2021 speech. India imported around 3.85 mnt ferrous scrap in CY20 (till Nov’20).
