India: Primary aluminium producers cut ingot prices by INR 3,500/t ($42/t)

India’s primary aluminium producers have decreased ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices today by INR 3,500/t ($42/t). Post-revision, Hindalco’s prices stood at INR 216,750/t ($2,600/t), down INR 3,500/t. Balco’s prices were at INR 223,250/t ($2,678/t). All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,305/t.
