China: HBIS’ ferro silicon tender prices inch up in Oct’22

Major Chinese steelmaker, HBIS Group, concluded its ferro silicon (72%) tender at RMB 8,850/t ($1,235/t), up by RMB 650/t ($91/t) m-o-m from the Sep’22 price. As per SteelMint assessment, the spot price of ferro silicon (75%) stood at RMB 8,800/t ($1,228/t) exw-Inner Mongolia and RMB 9,250/t ($1,291/t) exw-Shanxi on 12 Oct’22.
