South Africa: Glencore’s ferro chrome production drops 2% q-o-q in Q3CY’24
Glencore, a leading South African ferro chrome producer, reported a 2% q-o-q fall in production, to 295,000 t in Q3CY’24 compared to 302,000 t in Q2CY’24. However, its Jan-Sep’24 output touched 894,000 t, up by 2% from 873,000 t in the same period last year, reflecting overall growth despite the quarterly decline.
