India: Vedanta schedules high-carbon ferro chrome auction

Vedanta’s Ferro Alloys Corporation Limited (FACOR) has scheduled an auction for different sizes of high-carbon ferro chrome on 3 Aug’22. In the last auction held on 23 June, the bigger lot of 10-150mm fetched an H1 price of INR 108,400/t ex-Jajpur. Vedanta’s ferro chrome production is expected to resume soon, sources told SteelMint.
