India: Vedanta to auction 1,650 t of ferro chrome on 16 Nov’21

Mining major Vedanta Ltd. will conduct an auction for 1,650 t of high carbon (HC) ferro chrome from its ferro alloys subsidiary, FACOR, at Randia in Bhadrak district of Odisha on 16 Nov’21. The company recently announced that FACOR achieved production of 19 kt in Q2FY’22 after the plant ramped up production by around 10%.
