European ferro chrome benchmark price up by 3.1% q-o-q in Q1 CY21

The European benchmark ferro chrome price for Q1 CY2021 has been settled at 117.5 cents/lb, up by cents 3.5/lb since Q4 CY 2020, Merafe Resources announced. The price is also higher than Q1 CY20 by 16%. This hike in prices can be attributed to the expected demand from the European market post new year holidays.
