Australian 5500 NAR coal booked at $51.5 CFR India
In a confirmed deal, a capesize Australian coal (5500 NAR) vessel has been booked at $51.5/t CFR Kandla (west coast) for December shipment. The Australian thermal coal prices have found some support this week amid increased demand from India, Vietnam, and South Korea. The 5500 NAR prices are currently assessed between $39-40/t, FoB Newcastle basis.
