    South Korea’s coking coal imports stood at 1.85 mnt in Sep’22, down by 15% m-o-m, as per customs data. The fall was mainly because production operations at POSCO’s (largest steel manufacturing company) Pohang works were impacted due to flooding caused by typhoon Hinnamnor.
