Mongolia’s coking coal exports rose by 10% m-o-m to 4.11 mnt in Sep’22, as per CoalMint data. Around 90% of coal was exported to China in the month under review. However, on a y-o-y basis, exports surged by more than 300% due to stricter Covid restrictions last year.
