RINL-Vizag Steel Plant conducted a crude coal tar auction on 13 Oct’25, offering 1,260 t at a base price of INR 35,500/t. However, the auction received no bids, as buyers considered the base price higher than market expectations. The auction had earlier been postponed from 9 Oct’25 due to a similar lack of participation.
