China: Ferrochrome and Chrome ore imports suffer in Feb ’21

Chinese ferrochrome and chrome ore imports fell by 16.98% and 21.48% m-o-m in Feb’21 respectively. Factors such as higher electricity tariffs in the winter months and Chinese New Year holidays hampered production, which in turn resulted in a decrease in China’s imports of ferrochrome and chrome ore.
