Today, billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China), reported stable, against yesterday. However, finished steel demand is still slow, prices are on a continuous decline. The price of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter was reported at RMB 3,410/t ($493/t) in Tangshan, inclusive of 13 % VAT.
