Today the Chinese domestic billet prices settled with a rise of RMB 80 ($12) against this week’s opening. The billet transactions were moderate while prices of finished saw a downward trend. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 4,640/t ($712/t) in Tangshan, including 13 % VAT.
