China’s finished steel production volume increased by 4.6% to 1,020 mn t in Jan-Sept 2021 as per Chain customs. While crude steel production increased by 2% to 806 mn t during the same period. China’s iron ore production increased by 13.4% to 743 mn t and Pig iron production dropped 1.3% to 671 mn t.
