    China imported 32.3 mnt of coal in Nov’22, down by 16% compared to the corresponding month last year, as per custom data. China is facing severe Covid restrictions which have impacted domestic coal demand there. The country’s total coal imports stood at 277.12 mnt in Jan-Nov’22, down 10% over the same period last year.
