Steel inventory at key Chinese mills stood at 16.94 mnt in late-June, a m-o-m decrease of 3.57 mnt, or 17.42%, as per China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) data. Inventory increased by 5.65 mnt, or 50.03% compared with the beginning of this year and up by 3.18 mnt, or 23.12% compared with late-June’21.
