China: Shagang Steel hikes scrap purchase prices by $15/t

China’s Shagang Steel has announced the first hike in scrap procurement prices in Oct’21 by RMB 100/t ($15) for all grades, effective from 12 Oct. After the revision, price for HMS (6-10 mm) stands at RMB 3,860/t ($598), including 13% VAT, delivered to headquarters.
